Want to learn more about video production? Want to help produce videos for the Trans Oral History Project? Philly area, this is your chance!
Join the Transgender Oral History Project (TOHP) on Saturday, March 1st, for a one day crash course in video production. The TOHP is a national network of activists, volunteers, and trans folks committed to collecting and distributing a diverse range of stories from within the trans community. Our Video Editing Bootcamp will be a day-long opportunity for trans folks in the Philadelphia area to learn how to make videos. Folks who go through the bootcamp will then have the opportunity to shoot and edit video for the TOHP. We will cover how to operate a camera, the basics of interviewing, and editing video using Final Cut Pro X. Lunch and tokens will be provided. The bootcamp will take place at the Media Mobilizing Project Offices at 4233 Chestnut Street in West Philadelphia.
